Divide your morning routine for better result like giving 15-20 minutes for a morning walk, 15-20 minutes for stretching exercises, and 115-20 minutes for yoga. This package effort will give maximum benefits to your body.

Some days I felt motivated, some days I felt stuck. But I continued. And slowly I start seeing a difference, not outside but inside. This effort will write off the feeling like” Is it too late to start after 50″?

Truths I Learned While Starting Over After 50

Earlier, I used to get frustrated when the results were not visible. But now I understand that slow progress is natural. Even maintaining a small habit like brisk morning walking daily, doing yoga or stretching exercise daily, and writing regularly is a step forward. You don’t see big result immediatly, but something is changing within you.

2. Discipline is more important than motivation.

Motivation comes and goes, but consistency is permanent. There are many days when you don’t feel like doing anything, but discipline keeps you moving. In my case, even when I don’t feel fully focused, I still try to follow my routine. That consistency matters more than motivation.

3. Health becomes your priority

After facing a health issue and age, I became worried about my future, but I realised that my past disciplined life will help. And I thought that without good health, you can’t do anything. Now I give importance to morning walk, yoga, and a simple and balanced life, which will help me to achieve my goal. These look basic, but they create a strong foundation for everything else.

4. You must learn to ignore negativity

Generally, seeing your age, people around you passes negativity about you. They raise there eye brow for your every effort. I have also faced such situations, and I realised that if I keep listening to negativity, I will never move forward. So I decided to focus more my own journey.

  • Build one simple habit
  • Learn something new
